We’re famed for our pies – and for good reason. Made in-house with our signature suet pastry and proper, hearty fillings, they’ve become something of a Windmill institution (with plenty of choice to keep pie lovers coming back).
Alongside our famous pies, we serve homemade bar snacks and classic pub favourites, as well as one of the best Sunday roasts in Mayfair – with tender cuts, seasonal vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, giant Yorkshire puddings and generous lashings of gravy.
At the bar, you’ll find well-kept ales and beers, classic cocktails, a premium wine list and top-shelf spirits – carefully chosen to complement the food, or enjoyed simply because it’s time for a drink.
And we take them very seriously.
Made in-house and wrapped in our signature homemade suet pastry, each pie is packed with proper, hearty fillings and served with the care they deserve.
With nine pies on the menu, there’s plenty to choose from, including our award-winning Guinness Braised Short Rib Pie, which proudly took home a Silver Medal at the British Pie Awards this year. It’s just one of the reasons our pies have earned a reputation as some of the best in the country (and why we’re rather proud of them).
We’re rather proud of our reputation for serving one of the best Sunday roasts in Mayfair – generous cuts of perfectly cooked meat (and excellent vegetarian options, of course), crisp roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, towering Yorkshire puddings and, naturally, plenty of proper gravy.
With three distinctive private hire spaces to choose from, there’s a setting for every kind of celebration. From intimate private dining and lively drinks receptions to parties on our year-round Roof Terrace, whatever the occasion, we’ll help you make rather a good one of it.
