Food & Drink

We are famous for our award winning pies but we also serve up some of the finest British food in Mayfair. Our Upstairs restaurant by Head Chef Nathan Richardson, featured in Hot Dinners, is now open for lunch and dinner service from Tuesdays through to Fridays.

Welcome to The Windmill Mayfair, we are ideally situated in the heart of Mayfair just off of the bustling Regent Street and only a short walk from Oxford Circus Station. We proudly serve fresh, British food including award winning pies and seasonal traditional classics made from local English produce.

From bone marrow straws to hot soused mackerel, turbot & clams to our classic pies, Upstairs at the Windmill, our new restaurant, showcases the best of British seasonal produce. Head Chef Nathan Richardson takes charge of the ever evolving menu, with food blogger Dominic Rowntree managing the restaurant alongside Sujan Chowdhury. For an experience in fine dining book yourself a table Upstairs, we look forward to welcoming you.

Beer lovers will be delighted to learn that our bars are fully stocked with a selection of cask ales from our favourite local breweries, a wide selection of craft beers and an array of gins and cocktails.

Upstairs at The Windmill

Our new restaurant Upstairs at The Windmill is now open for lunch and dinner service from Tuesdays to Fridays. Head Chef Nathan Richardson curates the ever evolving menu with dishes finished in view from the open kitchen, celebrating the very best of classic pub food, along with an excellent wine list. The front of house team is lead by Dominic Rowntree, otherwise known as food blogger Samphire & Salsify, and Sujan Chowdhury who also heads the front of house team at The Guinea Grill.

Our Drinks

Beer lovers will be delighted to learn that we have a selection of cask ales on our main bar, featuring a variety of seasonal local guest ales along with all our Young’s favourites. Our extensive wine list provides a wide range of still and sparkling wines; from crisp and fruity Sauvignon Blanc to rich and spicy Malbec.

Windmill Roof Terrace

The Windmill Roof Terrace is the ideal hideaway to relax from the hustle and bustle of Mayfair. Offering a range of beers, wines and spirits, our roof terrace tables are on a first come first served basis.

Our Award Winning Pies

Pies are our passion with our Hampshire venison, smoked bacon and wild mushroom pie placing in the top three pies of the UK in its category and grabbing itself an incredible Gold Award from the highly prestigious, Great British Pie Awards this year. Our Steak and Mushroom pie also won a very shiny silver award bringing our grand total to no less than five awards for our meat packed, flavour filled pies. Keep your eyes peeled for our seasonal special pie pick, they won’t be on the menu for long and they are not to be missed!
