Let’s Talk Pie

To say the festive period was rather busy would be a huge understatement. The kitchen team and the pie ovens were working overtime to deliver a record breaking month for our super pub. We sold an epic 4,858 pies! A big thank you to our pie loving customers.
A new year at the Windmill begins. With plenty to be get excited about we're gearing up for an action packed 2019. We've already put on a new seasonal pie pick on the month - Wick's Farm pork shoulder, butcher’s pork and fennel sausages and black pudding with our legendary suet pastry. This is the perfect winter warmer pie now the big chill is looming.

Our favourite day of the month is Robert Burn's day, with a nod to the famous Scottish poet we'll be making up a yummy venison, bacon, wild mushroom pie, giving away complimentary haggis bon bons and there is also a free dram of whisky too. Look out for more information in our Windmill mailers, make sure you are signed up to our database.

Ruck n' roll… The six nations kicks off on Friday 1st February with Wales v France battling out, shown live on our big TV's with sound. Followed by a full day of action, including holders Ireland hosting England which has the potential to be an absolute classic.

On top of that the best week of the year will be upon us in March (4th - 10th) it's British Pie Week 2019 of course. We'll be teaming up with local breweries, giving away loads of prizes and packing our ovens with the best pies in London. We suggest putting it in your diary now and gathering up your friends.
